Singer-songwriter Tanya T6 has released a holiday recording entitled “Holidays At Home” on iTunes. The nine song EP features Tanya’s renditions of “Drummer Boy”, a cover of “Christmas Without You” by Dolly Parton and originals such as “Stop The Clock” and “All I Want For Christmas”. The EP is available  on iTunes, Amazon.com, and all other online digital platforms.

“The holiday season is my favorite time of the year, so when I began writing, ideas and melodies easily came to mind,” said the singer. “Holidays At Home” is one of my favorite records, as it reminds me of childhood memories when we would gather around the table for dinner or when mom and dad would wake us up at midnight to open presents”.

Tanya’s first single off her holiday EP is a track entitled “Coming Home.” “In hearing the recent news about our troops coming home for the holidays this year, I was inspired to write a song and dedicate it to all the families who will be expecting the return of their loved ones and to those who have lost their loved ones,” said Tanya.

Tanya is currently recording a new EP series, a follow-up to her debut EP entitled “Pieces”. Fans can expect this exciting new EP to be released spring 2012.

Tanya recently helped in the celebration of The Opening of the Apollo Theater Exhibit at the Museum of The City Of NY with Dionne Warwick. The new exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York opened February 8th focusing on the Apollo Theater, and how it has shaped American culture. The Apollo Theater is legendary and the exhibit called “Aint nothing like the real thing” looks at the history of the theater that dates back nearly 100 years. There was a short period when the theater closed, but since 2001 its audience has been growing to over 400,000 people a year.
